Both BU P17 and BU (I) cables are all made of the same conductor that is annealed copper wires which are tinned, HF EPR insulation as well as the mud protective sheath of either SHF2 or SHF MUD. You will agree with me that these cables are designed in a similar manner. However, they are intended for different purposes i.e. BU P17 is intended to work as a power and control cable while BU (I) cable serves as an instrumentation cable.
