This cable is made of a bare stranded copper multi conductor insulated with a polyvinyl chloride and a nylon jacketing. PVC being the primary insulation offers a great resistance to water and acid, oxidation resistance, flame retardant as well as creating a barrier for oil. PVC insulation has an excellent potential in a control cable as it can resist ozone and low temperatures. The multi copper conductors are then jacketed with a pure nylon offering protection to the PVC insulation against abrasion and UV rays. It is true that both the insulation and jacketing of this cable provides adaptive defense to this cable. I challenge you to prioritize it in your controlling automation wiring, since it can as well transmit voltages of up to 600V and armored with bronze/aluminum. It meets UL approvals of IEEE 1202/1685 flame tests.
