Type P Multi Coductor Power cable 600V/1000V is designed of soft annealed stranded tinned copper and is flexible for easy installation. This copper cable is coated with tin to ensure greater thermal performance, reduced corrosivity, and ability to solder it easily. It is used in operations of between 600 volts and 1000 volts and can withstand temperatures of up to 110 degrees Celsius. The tin coat ensures the copper does not oxidize easily at high temperatures. This cable is unarmored.

Applications
• For use in demanding environments of offshore drilling and petroleum facilities
• The cable is used for power distribution within circuits in the marine environments. It may be used to wire lighting equipment, control, and communication systems. The cable can be used in A/C motor power, transformer feeders, distribution panel feeders, light fixtures, lighting panels, remote motor controls, and plugs or receptacles.

Insulation
• Flame retardant cross-linked polyolefin
• An insulation made of cross linked polyolefin is used to protect the conductor. This insulation has been treated to make it flame retardant. Also known as XLPO, cross linked polyolefin is resistant to elements such as UV light, chemical substances, and fire. The material is long lasting and considered halogen free meaning it will not emit dangerous gases when exposed to fire or flame.

Jacketing
• Black, arctic grade PVC
• A jacket made of arctic grade PVC is used to protect the primary insulation material. Arctic grade PVC is capable of withstanding elements like oil, sunlight, chemical substances, and flame. It is also abrasion resistant.
