This cable is made using soft annealed tinned copper wire and is used in irrigation systems to offer connection for power to control circuits. It is insulated and jacketed for optimal performance in operations that require direct burial to underground without needing conduits. The tinned copper wire has excellent anti corrosion properties and this makes it ideal for use in areas that have high moisture such as residential and commercial irrigation schemes. The tinning process enhances the electrical conductivity of the wire while also allowing it to have easy workability such as soldering.

Applications

• Polyvinyl Chloride conforming to UL Standard 493 for TYPE UF/TWU rated 75°C
• The insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride or PVC which allows it to be resistant to fires, flames, heat, corrosion, water, acids, and sunlight.

Jacketing
• Pressure extruded high density PE
• The jacketing materials improves the performance of this tinned annealed copper cable when used in direct burial applications. The jacket is made using pressure extruded high density polyethylene material to reduce wear and tear, effects of abrasion, and enhance the installation and handling of the cable.
