It comes with compressed Class B concentrically stranded aluminum 1350 conductor, which is shielded with an extruded lead free semi-conductor. Conductor shield is made of a polymeric compound to help in stress control. The shielded aluminum conductors are insulated with a Tree-Retardant Cross Linked Polyethylene (TRXLPE) which is shielded and a concentric neutral made of bare copper wires is helically applied round the assembly. EmPower 28kV cable is jacketed with a linear low-density polyethylene for protection.

Features and Benefits
EmPower 28kV power cables are environmental friendly. They are made of lead free products in accordance to RUS U1 standards; lead releases too much smoke when burning polluting the environment. Therefore lead free cables are the cable of choice since they are flame retardant.

Triple extrusions creates clean interfaces between the conductors, shielding and insulation layers. This reduces dielectric loss increasing the dielectric strength thus improving the electrical conductivity of the cable.

TRXLPE insulation ensures safety of the cable and the user by protecting the cable from chemical and mechanical damages such as deformations, corrosion and creeping. It keeps the user away from electric shocks.

EmPower 28kV power cable is designed for both single and three-phase power distribution applications, where it is installed through underground system.
