Seacoast 14 AWG Multi-Conductors Type C14XT, C14XTA, C14XTB and C14(OS)XT 600 Volts XLP Insulation Cable

It is designed to serve in areas with temperatures not exceeding 90⁰C with a voltage rating of 600V. Its multi copper conductors are insulated with cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) and PVC jacketing for protection improving the cable’s durability. This cable comes in size 14 AWG (American Wire Gauge) and color coded for easy identification.

Features

1.Insulation
The copper conductors of this cable are insulated with XLP which ensures that the safety of the user and the cable is not distorted. XLP is non-conducting thus protecting the user from electric shocks when installing the cable. It also offers protection to the cable against damages caused by chemicals and liquids such as salts, chlorides and sun. Insulation of this cable is strong enough to withstand cuttings, impacts and mechanical forces. Cross linked polyethylene has a high dielectric strength and can perform up to high temperatures of 100⁰C.

2.Jacketing
The cable is jacketed with a tough polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which provides an excellent chemical and mechanical protection to the cable. It keeps the cable from corrosive chemicals, strong sunlight radiations, moisture, flames and any form of deformations. PVC is a non-biodegradable compound that do not succumb to fungal attack hence improving the cable life.

Applications
Seacoast Multi Conductor cable is a dual serving power cable that can perform in both wet and dry locations. This cable is intended for use in gas detection systems, ballast controls, general alarm systems, bilge controls and driller consoles in offshore drilling rigs.
