This is a telephone cable which is designed with specifications which appropriates it for direct burial installation. The cable has a robust and strong with high resistant to mechanical nicks not to mention rodents. It is constructed out of solid soft bare and annealed copper material where the individual conductors are twisted into pairs with varying lengths so as to reduce crosstalk effect.

For its outright performance in harsh conditions, the cable is recommended for use in wet environments where there is high need for protection against moisture and rodents. It has an insulation system made of solid polyolefin material which gives it the strength and robustness. Thus the cable is approved for direct burial, duct or aerial installation supported with a messenger wire. Another distinguishing feature of this communication cable is that it is filled with an extended thermoplastic rubber. This material tends to fill the spaces between the pairs and under the core tape.
