Description:
This type THN wire is widely recommended for use in applications that do not require any traces of Electromagnetic Interference, EMI. This because the cable has 100% shielding and does not allow any EMI radiations into the cable. It can be broadly used in do-it yourself home applications, industrial applications or in commercial purposes.

The cable is certified for use in hazardous indoor and outdoor applications in an operation range of up to 90°C in dry areas. For applications involving direct burial, 600V should not be exceeded. Some of these applications are;

Conductors:
• Soft bare copper conductor. The copper is fully annealed per ASTM B-3.
• It is fully stranded per ASTM B-8

Insulation:
• XPLE material insulator
• PVC insulation which is flame retardant according to the Standard 62 of the UL listing, for TFN wire and cable

Insulation Jacket:
Transparent nylon insulation jacket, standard 83 of UL listing for overall THWN wire and THHN cable.

Overall Shield:
• 100% coverage with Aluminum-polymer foil/tape.
• This aluminum shield has 0% EMI penetration with 7 strands of flexible tin-plated copper drain wire which earths excess currents.

Jacket:
An overall UV – resistant PVC jacket, according to standard 1277 of UL listing.
