Product Details
Class B compressed and stranded aluminum 1350 conductors of this cable are shielded with a polymeric thermosetting semi-conductor, which is responsible for stress regulation apart from inhibiting direct contacts. The conductor shield is coated with TRXLPE insulation (Tree-Retardant Cross-Linked Polyethylene) that is also shielded with a lead free thermosetting layer. Insulation shield offers a clean stripping from the insulation coat. A corrugated tape made of annealed copper is longitudinally applied on the insulation shield to form the core, which is jacketed with the black LLDPE.
Standards and Approvals

Features and Benefits
Corrugated 35kV EmPower cable has triple extrusions making its interfaces clean. Clean interfaces ensures an even transmission of fault current affirming the smooth heat dissipation of this cable. This excellent interface spacing enhances contraction and expansion of the cable core building its high dielectric strength.
Class B aluminum1350 conductors are soft and malleable rendering the cable to become flexible. Installation of power cables may involve pulling them along the corners of your conduit wiring system, when handling flexible cables you will use less effort as compared to stiff and rigid cables. Aluminum made cables are lightweight than copper cables, hence easier to lift reducing termination and installation time.
Conductor and insulation shields of Corrugated 35kV EmPower cable is made of lead free polymeric semi-conducting layers. Lead free cables are environmental friendly since they release less smoke in case of fire outbreak thus not polluting environment. I would recommend that you make this Corrugated 35kV EmPower power cable your preferred cable of choice and distribute power to your equipment without interfering with the environment.
The extruded unfilled tree-retardant and cross linked polyethylene insulation ensures safety of the user and of this Corrugated 35kV EmPower cable. TRXLPE is non-conductor and do not transmit electric power thus protects the user from electric shocks. Insulation of aluminum conductors creates a convenient boundary between the live conductors and the neutral conductor, preventing any contacts between them as it may lead to power blows and faults thus improving its electrical conductivity. Lead-free TRXLPE insulation protects the cable from chemical and mechanical damages that may arise during and after installation.
Linear Low Density Polyethylene jacketing is black color coded for easy identification. LLDPE layer is non-conducting and offers a superb protection against strong sunlight radiations. When pulling the cable during installation friction may build up causing wear and tear to your cable, but for corrugated 35kV EmPower cable the tough LLDPE jacket is strong enough to withstand abrasions, hence improving its service life.
Temperature Rating
Corrugated 35kV EmPower cable has three different temperature ratings explaining why it is vastly used. It is rated at 90 degrees Celsius for use in normal wiring, 130 degrees for emergency power lines and 250 degrees when deployed in short circuits.
Applications
Corrugated 35kV EmPower cable is designed and manufactured for use in three phase power lines. It serves as a medium power voltage cable and can withstand both wet and dry environmental conditions. This cable is installed through direct burial and duct system.
