Product Details
This type of control cable is mainly for use in applications not exceeding 600 volts hence it’s mainly used for medium duty applications where maximum flexibility and durability is required. This cable is also used in applications where shielding from ambient electrical interference is required in power, control and lighting circuits in both commercial and industrial applications.
It also functions in a wide range temperatures. It is rated 90 degrees Celsius for dry locations, this is quite evident that the cable is reliable in hot and dry application areas. The cable is also designed to resist external forces that may bring damage to it including abrasion, sunlight, flames and oils.
When it comes to its construction, it has a conductor, insulation, insulation jacket, shield and a jacket. In accordance to its name the cable is made up of annealed copper conductor which is mostly used due to its amazing electrical properties. For the insulation PVC is used due to its robustness. On top of the insulation nylon is put in place to be the insulation jacket. To prevent electrical interference an overall aluminum shield is placed in the cable. The cables jacket is also made of PVC which is sunlight resistant and relatively robust to prevent damage of internal features of the cable.
