Prysmian and Draka Cable 14 AWG Bostrig Type P Multi-Conductor Armored and Sheathed 600V Control Cable

This is a control type P cable with size 14 AWG multi conductors, made of annealed copper wires covered with a separating tape. The separating tape is applied round the multi conductors and then coated with a cross linked polyolefin insulation keeping it safe from the punishing marine environmental conditions, forming the core that is armored with a braided bronze and CPE sheathing.

Features :

Armoring
The 14 AWG Bostrig Type P cable is armored with a braided bronze as per the requirements of IEEE 1580 for protection. Armoring of marine Bostrig Type P Cable offers a great mechanical protection against the vibrational waves, crushing and stress impacts.

Sheathing
This cable is sheathed with the chlorinated polyethylene layer that is flame retardant protecting the cable from burning. The cable has a high temperature operational rating increasing its ampacity.

Applications
It is designed to help in power distributions at voltages not exceeding 600V in both wet and dry temperatures within the range of -40⁰C to 125⁰C. This cable is installed in marine power lines for offshore and onshore applications as a control, instrumentation and signal cable.
