Type PLTC Overall Shielded Pairs Triads CVTC XLPE PVC Instrumentation Shielded 300V UL

The CVTC XLPE PVC Type PLTC Individual And Overall Shielded Pairs Triads Instrumentation Shielded 300V UL cable is constructed with flexible, tinned annealed copper conductors that align with ASTM B33 for tinned copper conductors.  The copper conductors bear a flame-retardant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation that is color-coded for identification.  The cable includes two layers of Flexfoil® shielding; one layer individually shields each pair or triad, the other layer shields the overall assembly.  The Flexfoil® aluminum/polyester layer provides 100% shielding.  The exterior layer of the CVTC XLPE PVC Type PLTC Individual And Overall Shielded Pairs Triads Instrumentation Shielded 300V UL cable is a lead-free, flame-retardant, sunlight-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket.

The CVTC XLPE PVC Type PLTC Individual And Overall Shielded Pairs Triads Instrumentation Shielded 300V UL cable can be installed in free air, raceways, or direct burial in wet or dry locations.  It is intended for use in instrumentation and process control applications where protection from electrostatic interference is required.  The cable passes multiple UL flame tests and is compliant with Restrictions on Hazardous Substances.  The cable’s flame resistant properties make it suitable for use in Class I, Division 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC.
