The stranded bare copper conductors of this cable are insulated with a cross linked polyethylene rubber or an ethylene propylene, separating them from the draining wires and then jacketed with an overall layer made of cross linked polyolefin and binding tape. Its conductors are cabled into pairs.
Features
1.Insulation
Using thermoplastic cross linked polyethylene or the ethylene propylene rubber improves the protective feature of this cable. It is non-conducting layer that protects the user from unnecessary shocks when handling the cable. XLP and EPR are flexible materials affirming the flexibility of this cable. Flexible cables are easy to install and terminate. Insulation of this cable enhances its durability.
2.Jacketing
Type LSTTOP 300V cable is jacketed with the cross linked polyolefin layer, the outer coat that ensures safety of the entire cable especially during and after installation. It prevents the conductors free from moisture as well as mechanical damages such as deformations.
Applications
This cable is primarily designed for onshore and offshore marine wiring applications in drilling rigs, abroad marine vessels, and fixed and floating marine equipment.
