Description:
This instrumentation cable is widely applied where electromagnetic interference is least needed because it serves as a protection from the EMI Radiations and this is mostly in the applications involving process control. This cable is listed by Type TC of the UL for both indoor and outdoor installations. It is used in hazardous environments and applications not exceeding 600 volts.
Conductor:
• Soft bare, fully annealed copper conductor.
• Very flexible 7 strands of the copper wires.
• Class B stranding, ASTM B/8
• 90°C temperature rating
Insulation:
• Flame retardant Polyvinyl Chloride, PVC
• Ul Standard 83 insulation
• Overall Type THHN and THWN wire insulation
Individual Shield:
• Tape of Aluminum-polymer shield.
• The shield has 100% coverage on the insulated conductors
• 7 strands of tin-plated copper as the drain wire.
Overall shield:
• Tape of Aluminum-polymer shield.
• The shield has 100% coverage on the insulated conductors
• 7 strands of tin-plated copper as the drain wire.
Insulation Jacket:
Transparent nylon which is UL listed, standard 83 for the THHN cables and THWN wires
Jacket:
• UV- resistant Polyvinyl Chloride, PVC. Insulation is per Standard 1277 of UL listing
• Longitudinal ripcord under the jacket for easy stripping
