Product Details

A stranded conductor made using tinned copper or nickel-plated copper. The wire has high conductivity and enhanced solderability due to use of the tin coat or nickel coat. This wire is designed to work in equipments and locations that tend to have high temperatures. It works in applications of up to 600 volts and operations of up to 200 degrees Celsius. The tin coat is made to prevent the copper wire from corroding when exposed to elements like moisture and UV light. It is insulated with a ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer for optimal protection and easy workability.

Applications
• A lead wire for high temperature environments or equipment
• This wire is used in control or power circuits for equipments such as furnaces, kilns, gas or oil fired furnaces, boilers, and heater elements. It may also be used in lead motors and heat pumps.

Insulation
• Modified ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer- Tefzel 750
• An insulation material made of modified ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer is used to offer protection to the wire. This copolymer has a good tensile strength and high flex life. It is also has moderate stiffness and an excellent impact strength. The insulation resists abrasion and cut-through. As a wire insulation, this material withstands things like physical abuse after and during installation.
