Description:
This halogen free limited smoke copper cable is tough service cable. This cable has different gauge sizes ranging from 10 to 12 to 14 American wire Gauge, AWG. The outstanding feature of this cable is its MC XHHW-2 jacket which has been tested and certified for zero halogen and with limited smoke. This jacket is flame retardant and with excellent heat resistance. The cable is fitted with insulated copper conductors with proper jacketing to make sure it survives the underground environment on direct burial.
Applications:
Halogen free limited smoke copper cable shows excellent performance in hazardous, heavy duty applications. It has a tough, sturdy and robust jacket that shows very high resistance to heat and moisture, it can therefore be directly buried in underground cabling.
Its wide temperature range of -40°C to 90°C in both wet and dry locations makes it fit for marshy and punishing applications. This cable can be used in exposed cabling above the ground because of its good resistance to UV and weather. It can also serve in duties that require ampacity of up to 600V
