Product Details
This cable is made of Class B compressed concentrically stranded 1350 aluminum conductors. Theses conductors are shielded with a cross linked thermosetting semi-conductor and insulated with an extruded EPR. EPR refers to Ethylene Propylene Rubber that is again shielded with an extruded thermosetting semi-conducting layer, which is clean and offers free stripping from the insulation. A corrugated copper tape is applied longitudinally along the insulation shield and then covered with the outer jacketing LLDPE layer. LLDPE refers to Linear Low Density Polyethylene. It is approved to meet all the required international specification tests and is readily available to serve its intended purpose.
Consider this Cable because:
It is made of 1350 aluminum conductor series that are lightweight and flexible. You need lightweight cables that will not demand for more labor especially during installations, thus relieving you from incurring unnecessary labor costs because they are easy to lift and carry along. Flexibility is an aspect to consider when looking for power cables, this is because they require less effort to bend and fold reducing termination time. Aluminum made cables are easy to carry and install as compared to standard rigid and stiff copper made cables.
This electronic utility cable is double shielded with an extruded thermosetting semi-conductor, which acts as a stress controlling layer to the conductors. Both the conductor and insulation shields protects the aluminum conductors from any kind of stress acting on the cable. EPR insulation and LLDPE jacketing compound prevents the cable from chemical and mechanical damages. LLDPE is sunlight-resistant and offers excellent resistant to water treeing. The tough corrugated copper tape protects the cable from deformation. You also don’t need to use release agents during termination because it is instilled with a stripping insulation shield.
Applications
25kV LLDPE Cable has a wide operating temperature range of up to 250 degrees Celsius when used in short circuit, 140 degrees as an emergency cable and 105 degrees when deployed in normal wiring systems. It is used in three-phase power distribution systems where it is installed through ducts and direct burials.
