Product Details
This cable has a similar conductor construction as the one discussed above. However, it has a different insulation and jacketing material. The copper conductors are insulated with a silicone rubber that is low smoke. Well, silicone rubber releases less smoke in case of fire outbreak and thus flame retardant, and this explains why they can perform in high heat conditions of up to 180 degrees Celsius. It is jacketed with LSNH Cross Linked Polyolefin, which offer excellent defense against chemical and mechanical destruction.
Areas of Applications
It is designed to serve in marine environment and thus should withstand strong waves found along the seas. This wire is normally installed in tunnels as well as subways systems with a wide voltage capacity of up to 2000V, in areas desiring low smoke emission.
