A highly flexible soft annealed tinned copper stranded conductor made for high temperature, high voltage environments. It is made for use in marine environments where the conditions are demanding. The conductor has a tin coating which makes it perform well in extreme temperatures. The coating also makes it easy to solder the wire.

Applications
• Designed and constructed for the demanding environments of offshore drilling and petroleum facilities
• In offshore drilling facilities where the conditions are demanding, this control cable may be ideal for use. It is used in wiring electronic systems, indicator systems, gas detectors, fire detectors, ballast controls, bilge controls, driller’s console, and video camera facilities. It is also listed as shipboard cable.

Insulation
• Flame retardant cross-linked polyolefin
• The conductor is insulated using a cross linked polyolefin that is flame retardant. The insulation is also resistant to other elements like UV light, chemicals, and fire. Cross-linked polyolefin is halogen free and it does produce toxic gases in exposure to flame and heat.

Jacketing
• Arctic grade PVC
• A jacket made of black, arctic grade PVC is used to protect the insulation. This jacketing material is resistant to chemical, oil, and abrasion. It is also resistant to flame and sunlight.

Armor
• Braided armor of bronze
• A basket weave wire armor is used to further protect and strengthen the control cable.

Features
• High strand count conductors make this product extremely flexible, easier to install and more resistant to vibration than Type MC, IEC spec or commercial cables.
• Lower dielectric constant and higher insulation resistance reduces electrical losses.
• Excellent resistance to moisture produces stable electrical properties throughout the life of the cable.
• In fire conditions, non-chlorinated flame retardant system produces less toxic and less corrosive gasses.
• Dual certified IEEE 1580 Type P and UL 1309/CSA C22.2 No. 245 Type X110.
• Highest ampacity ratings: ABS 100°C, DNV 95°C, LRS 95°C, Transport Canada 95°C
• Severe cold durability: exceeds CSA cold bend/cold impact (-40/-35° C)
• Flame retardant: IEC 60332-3 Category A and IEEE 1202
