This is a speaker and control cable with multi conductors which are not shielded but still offer excellent service. Hydro Bloc Unshielded cable is suitable for permanent installations especially in wet areas. Multi conductors are insulated with a polyvinyl chloride for protection and jacketed with an extruded low friction PVC.

Conductor
The multi conductors are made of bare and stranded copper wires. Copper is well known for its good electrical conductivity because it creep resistant with a good thermal conduction and tensile strength. It is available in size 12 AWG through 18 AWG.

Insulation and jacket
The polyvinyl chloride with a nylon cover is used as an insulator and a jacket, to provide protection from the punishing environmental conditions. PVC is fungal resistant, sunlight resistance, flame and water resistant thus improving the service life of the cable. The low friction PVC is easy to pull along the conduits during installation with less effort.
