A tinned copper strand designed for use in high temperature, high voltage environments. This wire is coated with tin metal for improved performance. Tin coating on the wire improves its conductivity. It minimizes the effects of corrosion on the wire because tin has a high corrosion resistance. Also, tin has good thermal performance of up to 150 degrees Celsius and it will prevent oxidation within that temperature range. A tin coated wire is easily soldered and this ensures that connections are done pretty fast and effectively. Tin also has electrical conductivity of about 15 percent that of copper.

• Silicone rubber is used to insulate the wire. This insulation is resistant to elements like chemicals, solvents, flame, heat, ozone, and UV light. It is also resistant to water, oxidation, and alkaline substances.
