A normal weight wall cable made of soft annealed silver coated copper strands. Its silver coating makes it perform excellently in high temperature applications. Silver coating on the copper allows for soldering but with use of active flux material. The cable is used in applications with temperature extremes that range from -65 degrees Celsius to 300 degrees. It’s approved temperature rating is 200 degrees Celsius and voltage of 600 volts.

Insulation
• Dual layer of irradiation crosslinked extruded ETFE
• A dual layer of cross linked extruded ETFE is used as the insulation material. This material resists elements such as abrasion, cold flow, and radiation. It also resists common military chemicals such as high pH cleaning fluids, fuel, and lubricating oils. Being a tough material, it is also highly flexible. It is also flame retardant. Cross-linked ETFE has good outgassing features and offers weight saving solutions. The different layers are made of different pigments to be able to show any signs of wear or damage at time of doing installation or during the service life of the cable.
