Generally, this cable is preferred in distributing power in internal wiring, motor leads, iron boxes, ovens etc. Tin coating of the soft copper wire offers protection against corrosion and also make it easily soldered. It has a silicone rubber insulation which is soft and can withstand high heat and temperatures since it is flame retardant. As the name suggests, Type SFF-2 CSA SEWF Glass Braid is jacketed with a braided glass that keeps the cable flexible as well as abrasive resistant. It is in line with the specification standards of UL Type SFF-2, CSA CEWF-2, 150 degrees Celsius
