Product Details
These normal weight wall cables are made of different materials. AS22759/34is made of soft annealed tin coated copper while AS22759/35 is made of silver plated high strength copper alloy. The tin coated cable is designed to work in applications with temperatures of up to 150 degrees Celsius while the silver plated one works in applications with temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celsius. The voltage rating is 600 volts.
Applications
• A normal weight wall cable
• It is used in avionics, missiles, shipboards, airframes, military vehicles, and other electronic uses.
Insulation
• Irradiation crosslinked extruded ETFE
• A dual layer of insulation made of irradiation crosslinked extruded ETFE is used to protect the cables. The insulation layers are contrasting in color to allow visual indication of mechanical damage or abrasion on the cable due to physical abuse at time of installation or during the cables’ service. ETFE is resistant to fuel, high PH cleaning fluids, lubricating oils, and other chemicals. It is flame retardant, and mechanically tough. It offers weight saving solutions. It is also resistant to cold flow, abrasion, and radiation. Cross-linked ETFE has good outgassing properties.
