Product Details
This GenSpeed 6 Cable is a plenum type of cable that features solid bare annealed copper conductor. It has a complex insulation made of polyolefin and fluoropolymer compounds that comes in different color coding for easy identification. Insulated copper conductors are separated by a divider and a ripcord instilled longitudinally then jacketed with the PVC. This cable is designed with frequency rating of 350 Megahertz, meaning that it can’t support frequencies exceeding that mark.
Standard Compliances
1.ANSI/TIA 568-C.2
2.UL 444
3.ICEA S-116-732
4.NEC/CEC Type CMP for Plenum and Type CMR for Non-Plenum
5.RoHS Compliant Directive 2011/65/EU
You Need this Cable because:
It is a flexible cable made of annealed copper conductors. Annealing is the process of making copper conductors to become soft and malleable without interfering with its electrical conductive properties. Flexibility is a thing to go by when making your preferred cable of choice; this is because they require less effort to fold and bend when fixing them in your wiring systems. Imagine installing a stiff and rigid cable? You will agree with me that you will be left exhausted after applying unnecessary effort in bending and folding them.
The use of a unique separating divider improves consistency in electrical performance of this cable. It has a TRU-Mark print that contain footage markings that helps you in making counts thus avoiding confusions that may arise when installing the cable. This cable is also fitted with ripcords for easy termination during installation.
Polyvinyl Chloride jacketing layer is flame retardant and releases low smoke in case of fire outbreak, lowering the rate of combustion thus giving you more time to contact fire extinguishers. This layer also protects the cable from moisture, strong sunlight radiations, oils and mechanical damages such as abrasions, creeping, and wear and tear. Polyolefin insulation also improves the protective attributes of this cable making it have a long service life.
Applications
GenSpeed 6 Cable is designed for use in ATMs, Token Rigs, Digital Video wiring, broadband and baseband analog video.
