Applications:
6/3 Type GG-C cable is designed for use in cranes, conveyors, pumps, drills, cutters, mobile and portable mining applications. These applications are achieved because of its good chemical and physical properties like resistance to oils, moisture, solvents, aging and abrasion. This cable can transmit 87 amps of current.
Conductors:
• Fully annealed and stranded copper conductor
• 8 AWG through 500 MCM size conductor
Insulation:
• Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) is used to insulate the copper conductors individually.
• CPE fillers are fitted for reinforcement
Jacketing:
Black Chlorinated Polyethylene, (CPE) jacket.
Features:
• Excellent resistance to abrasion, ozone and UV light.
• Water and oil resistant jacket
• Very flexible for portability
• Temperature rating of between -45°C and 90°C in dry areas and 75°C in wet locations
• Voltage rating of 2000V
