262 MCM 1 Conductor Type P Power Cable 2000V

262 MCM 1 Conductor Type P Power Cable 2000V

Description:
262MCM Type P Power cable is specifically designed for rigorous offshore applications. It can transmit large amounts of current which is 2000 volts, therefore it is recommended for heavy duty power supply. This cable is coated with tin which ensures great thermal performance and reduces corrosion.

Conductors:
The conductor is made of soft annealed tinned copper per IEEE 1580 Table 11. It is flexible due to the many strands and the annealed copper.

Insulation:
Conductors of the Type P cable are insulated using cross-linked polyolefin. This material is tough which makes it suitable for harsh environments.

Jacket:
The jacket is made of black, arctic grade PVC. It protects the cable construction from all forms of external forces.

Features:
• The cable has lots of strands which increase its conductivity and flexibility
• Flame retardant cable: IEC 60332-3 Category A and IEEE 1202
• Emits little or no toxic gases during a fire
• Lower dielectric constant and higher insulation resistance reduces electrical losses
• Dual certified IEEE 1580 Type P and UL 1309/CSA C22.2 No. 245
• Highest ampacity ratings: ABS 100°C, DNV 95°C, LRS 95°C
• Severe cold durability: exceeds CSA cold bend/cold impact (-40/-35°C)

Applications:
• Offshore drills and petroleum facilities
• Marine shipboard cable
• A/C Motor power
• Transformer feeders

Industrial Approvals:
• CSA Listed as marine shipboard cable
• United States Coast Guard
• American Bureau of Shipping
• Lloyd’s Register of Shipping
• Transport Canada
• Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
• Underwriters Lab Listed
• NVE 95/1696, FAL
• IEEE 1580 Type P
