Applications: 3-3-3-5 Copper wire is a service entrance cable designed to deliver secondary distribution voltages to the meter base and distribution panelboard of a residential, commercial, or industrial building. #3 copper wire is connected to the service drop to deliver power into the building. The cable is made to withstand inclement weather such as rain and snow. Copper Service Entrance Cable can also withstand abuse from UV rays, even in areas where the sun is most powerful. It is important to use high-grade material for this type of cable because this is the first cable to enter the dwelling and is often exposed to the outdoors. Copper Type SE Style R is a 600V cable that can thrive in indoor or outdoor locations with dry climates.

Jacket: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket is fire-resistant, and impervious to daylight
Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene, high heat-resistant, water resistant. Thermoplastic high heat-resistant, water-resistant.
