Description:
Sweetbriar 4/0-4/0-2/0 Triplex Aluminum URD cable is specially designed for applications involving direct burial and secondary transmissions underground. Its two phase conductors which are live have a 4/0 AWG gauge size whereas the smaller neutral cable has a 2/0 AWG conductor size. It serves 315 amps as a direct burial cable and 240 amps when installed in ducts.
Applications:
#4/0 Sweetbriar wire Underground Distribution Cable specifically designed for underground distribution systems. In extreme environmental conditions, the cross-linked polyethylene is used since it can withstand temperatures of up to 90°C.
Conductors:
They are made of aluminum alloy which are compressed in 1350-H19. Only 99.5% of the conductor is made of aluminum the rest is made of zinc, copper and silicon.
Insulation:
The insulation is made of standard cross-linked polyethylene.
Features:
• Can resist high temperatures of up to 90°C
• Corrosion resistant conductors
• Heat and moisture resistant insulation
• Lead free triplex wire
• 600 volt URD cable
Standards:
• ASTM B-901
• ICEA S-105-692
• Federal Specification J-C-30B
• RUS Accepted

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
what is the voltage drop/Amp/meter
A voltage drop meter is commonly referred to as the voltmeter and it measures the voltage drop across a conductor. So it us a tool used to measure the potential difference between a unit length of a conductor. An amp meter or an ammeter is a tool which measures current across a unit length of a conductor. The current is measured in Amps.
Shipment is late and don't know when it's going to get here I do not like the carrier they use.
Have not received order as of 9/17.
I got the wire I needed for my project at a great price and it is a quality products! I would purchase from Nassauel Electrical again!
Works as expected and easy ordering thanks
