Carolprene® Welding Cable 600 Volt
Product Description:
The conductive components in this cable consist of fully annealed stranded Class K bare copper conductors. The annealed copper product used in this cable offers superior flexibility compared to standard copper wires. The copper conductors are insulated with color-coded ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber insulation. The insulation protects the conductors from abrasion and holds a temperature rating of 90°C.
Applications:
Carolprene® Jacketed Type SOOW 600V Non-UL Portable Cord offers exceptional resistance to oil and moisture and is therefore a suitable cable for use in portable tools and welding equipment, motors, and battery and generator leads. The cable is also used for temporary and portable power applications. The cable can tolerate heavy-duty assignments because of its high tensile strength and resistance to abrasion. It is suitable for indoor or outdoor use and can be installed in conduit, tray, or trough. Its durable construction allows the cable to be used in locations with harsh weather and high winds.
Specifications:
- This cable aligns with MSHA specifications.
- Carolprene® Jacketed Type SOOW 600V Non-UL Portable Cord is compliant with Restrictions on Hazardous Substances.
