The HW 290 Listed CIR® Control Cable Multi-Conductor + Ground 0.6/kV 90°C Gexol® Insulation cable consists of multiple soft annealed flexible stranded conductors and a ground conductor that are all individually insulated.  The conductors are made of tinned copper, which offers extremely high electrical and mechanical integrity.  The tin-plating on the copper conductors enhances the wire’s lifespan by up to ten times that of a bare copper conductor.  The Gexol® insulation is a polyolefin material that is designed to protect the conductors from a long list of corrosive elements including fire, oil and vapors.  The insulation also protects the conductors from abrasion and sunlight.  The HW 290 Listed CIR® Control Cable Multi-Conductor + Ground 0.6/kV 90°C Gexol® Insulation cable is capable of carrying an ampacity of up to 600V.

The HW 290 Listed CIR® Control Cable Multi-Conductor + Ground 0.6/kV 90°C Gexol® Insulation cable is built to be able to withstand Earth’s most unforgiving environments.  The cable is approved for use in hazardous locations per Underwriters Laboratories standard 2225.  The Gexol insulation allows the cable to function in temperatures as low as -75°C and up to 90°C.  Its flexible mechanical properties make it a great alternative to Type MC.  HW 290 Listed CIR® Control Cable Multi-Conductor + Ground 0.6/kV 90°C Gexol® Insulation cable’s brittle point, which passes standards set forth by the American Society of Testing and Materials, allows the cable to function in arctic conditions.  The cable also meets Underwriters Laboratories requirements of standard 1309, deeming it acceptable for installation within marine vessels and offshore structures.
