GEP-FLEX cable is engineered with copper conductors that are covered with a high grade dielectric polyethylene insulation. Multi pairs are then shielded individually, twisted and then wrapped with an additional foil. The assembly is later coated with a strong and flexible GEP-FLEX master jacket. It is tested and approved by renowned international standards organizations.
Why should you go for this Cable?
The high grade dielectric polyethylene insulation helps in minimizing high frequency attenuation. Attenuation is a decrease in signal strength. Polyethylene layer also offers a great protection against harsh environmental conditions. It keeps the cable free from moisture, corrosive chemicals, abrasion, cuttings and oils. This explains why this cable is durable and will serve you longer.
Individual shielding and the overall shielding of the conductors’ assembly ensures that the twisted conductors are tightly compacted. This is necessary because it helps in improving noise rejection. GEP-FLEX master jacketing as the name suggests is very flexible. Flexible cables are easy to handle since they don’t require excessive force to pull along the conduit systems when installing. You need cables that will give you easy termination time during installation and thus GEP-FLEX cable is an ideal choice.
Applications
GEP-FLEX cable has resilient features that makes it a preferred cable of choice for microphone wiring applications, studio interconnect and extended distance voice transmission runs. It comes in different sizes up to 22 as per the American Wire Gauge (AWG).
